Ok, so I received some yarn from Zpaggeti in the mail to test out, quite a while ago now and I must admit, I’m not a crocheter, so I wasn’t quite sure what I could do with it.
Zpagetti yarn is pretty unusual actually. It’s made from offcuts of new fashion garments. You basically get long strips of cotton which great for crocheting and knitting (if you know how to, unlike me!) The yarn is slightly elastic, strong and sustainable.
I confess, I did not make the bag in these pictures. The clever Textiles teacher at my school whipped this up in a jiffy.
Despite the fact that it is a very heavy yarn, making this bag pretty heavy even without anything in it, it certainly makes an interesting textured product. What do you think? Check out the Zpagetti website and see what you think. Could be fun!
