This year, my family and I did something that we had been planning for years. A 3 month trip to Italy. It’s amazing how much planning went into such a short time away but oh boy, the memories we made!
It was everything you’d imagine—delicious gelato, endless sunshine, breathtaking landscapes, bike rides through Comic Con in Lucca, missed flights and yucky bathrooms. But what stood out most wasn’t just the beauty of the country; it was how much our family learnt in our time together.
Away from the usual routines, we found joy (and frustration) in everyday things: Catching the Italian public transport – where the schedule is just “a rough guide”, making up silly stories while waiting for pizza, finding the cheapest souvenirs and working out how to keep ourselves from going insane on the 23 hour + plane rides.
That’s how my new book was born. It’s packed with practical tips on how to make travelling with kids, that little bit easier.
Whether it’s learning how to pack light yet still be prepared for anything, finding creative ways to entertain your kids during long trips, or dealing with travel hiccups with a positive attitude, this book will help you turn challenges into opportunities for fun.
Travelling with kids doesn’t have to be stressful or expensive; with a little preparation and the right mindset, you can create amazing experiences without breaking the bank-or your sanity.
If you’re dreaming of a long getaway, a road trip across the country, or even a short weekend break, this book is your go-to guide for making every trip enjoyable, memorable, and stress-free.
It’s filled with the kinds of ideas we discovered during our trip, the ones that turned ordinary days into unforgettable adventures.
I’m so excited to share it with you—it’s available now on Amazon! I hope it makes you want to pack your bags and head out into our beautiful world.
