Ooh, I love these! Koi are my favourite, I have a thing for fish. I would use these magnets for my seven year old daughter’s artwork. She is always drawing pictures or making little cards to give to me. During the school year she brings home all sorts of paintings and collages that would look great on the fridge with these magnets.
I would use these magnets to stick reminder notes to myself on the fridge (I’m out of post-its). But my reminder notes aren’t the usual sort … they often say things like “Return library books NOW! Not in five minutes, because you’ll end up procrastinating all afternoon. Go now” and “Study, because if you keep putting it off, you will not pass this subject but it’d be good to get a good mark, wouldn’t it?”
When my parents go on holiday, even if it’s only for the weekend Dad always sends me these ace postcards. They’re generally a bit of a brochure or flyer that he’s picked up somewhere, then pops a stamp on the back and into the mail. They’re always inscribed with his scribbles and loopy arrows, (a picure of an ostrich becomes a portrait of a politician) and although he claims it’s cos he won’t waste money on a postcard I know it’s really that he enjoys these little creations and I keep them all on my fridge cos they make me smile whenever I see them.
Gorgeous! You remind me my fridge doors are desperate for a tidy up as they are currently covered with artwork, photos, receipts and generally anything that I don’t know where else to put…
I would use these lovelies to stick up some gorgeous A3 prints I have of my 2 year old daughter playing in the garden and replace the shabby magnets currently in place. Oh and I would have to put one lower down for my 2 1/2 year old to stick her ‘precious’ things up with.
